Yesterday morning, December 11, Mom and us kids left at about noon from Incheon International airport in Seoul, Korea for Dulles International airport in Washington, DC. Grandma and Grandpa Green came to pick us up. Here are some pictures Dad took at the airport in Seoul of us getting ready to go, the entrance to the airport and a robot that goes around the airport on its own providing information to anyone who stops it. Korea was ranked as #3 (2005) and #5 (2006) as the best international airport in the world. (#1 was Singapore and #2 was Hongkong - http://www.worldairportawards.com/Awards-2006/AirportYear-2006.htm) Dad will come 12 days after us - which we are calling the 12 days of Christmas. We will miss all of our Korean friends and look forward to seeing friends in Virginia and in the US that we haven't seen for a long time.
Wow, I never ran into that robot when I was there, that is pretty cool. Where are you guys going to be while you're here? Virginia? Where in virginia? We are driving up the east coast (well, mostly up 95) on Friday, to Maine for Christmas.
You're right - that's a great airport. But I never saw the robot either - always something new. Have a great Christmas, and I'll see you in Florida. Mrs. Mac
