Description:
I wanted to pass a recipe idea on to you. In the past I’ve made what are called “baked doughnuts”. They were a yeast bread and very good but fairly time consuming. Well, Daniel’s been begging me for doughnuts but I didn’t have my “baked doughnuts” recipe. So here is what I did this morning and they turned out great.

Ingredients:
Biscuit dough
Melted butter or margarine
Cinnamon and sugar mixture

Directions:
I made a regular biscuit dough recipe, patted out the dough and cut them out in doughnut shapes. Then baked them normally. When they came out of the toaster oven, I dipped the underside in melted butter and then again into a cinnamon-sugar mixture. They were delicious and the kids loved them. Not hard or time consuming. Anyway, I thought you might like that idea.

This recipe sounds great and easy. I'll try it when the Korean students and Noelle visit me over the Christmas break from the WOLBI. LOve and prayers to you, your family, the staff and students. The Korean students at the BI call me Grandma Bev

I DO like the idea....anything that's quick and delicious is a winner with me! They'd be more healthy than fried donuts, too! Good job, Rhonda!! ~Love ya! Bonnie ><>
